Inline areas

• Inline areas are part of lines.
• Inline area has distinguished point on edge of box. This is the position point.
• Also has an escapement point on directly opposite edge.
• Line from position point and escapement point is parallel to edge of box. This is the escapement of the area.
• Writing mode for paragraph determines inline progression direction for line.
• Each inline area placed with position point on alignment line.
• Inline area oriented so that escapement is in the inline progression direction.
• More complicated with mixed writing modes in single line.
